Collection: German Registration Seals & Inspection Stickers

The final step to 100% authenticity.

A German license plate is not complete without its official registration seals. These stickers (placed between the City Code and the Letters) tell the story of where the car is from and when it was last inspected.

Whether you are restoring a vintage look or need the current year for a modern build, we stock the correct seals for every era.

1. The State Seal (Landeswappen)

This is the bottom sticker. It identifies the Federal State (Bundesland) where the car is registered.

Authenticity: We carry the specific seals for all major regions, including Bavaria (Bayern), Berlin, Wolfsburg (Lower Saxony), Stuttgart (Baden-Württemberg), and more.

The Look: Features the official coat of arms and the name of the district.

2. The Inspection Sticker (TÜV / HU)

This is the top sticker. It indicates the safety inspection expiry.

Current Years: We stock valid stickers for 2022, 2023, 2024, and beyond. The color of the sticker changes every year (e.g., Orange, Blue, Yellow, Brown) just like in Germany.

Installation Guide (Pro Tip)

To apply them like a pro:

Placement: The stickers go vertically aligned between your City Code (first 1-3 letters) and your Random Letters.

Order: The TÜV (Round Year) goes on Top. The Landeswappen (State Seal) goes on the Bottom.

Note on Modern Plates: In modern Germany (post-2010), front plates technically only carry the bottom State Seal. However, most US enthusiasts prefer the look of both stickers (Top and Bottom) on their front vanity plate for the added color and detail.
